Here is a photo I took of the top cover of my hardwood box with this etched glass that has gold leaf inset the Celtic Cross pattern and painted behind this symbol I'm so particularly fond of.
There's abalone in the center. This was very hard to photograph the way I wanted with such a glossy reflective surface of the glass. I kept seeing images reflected in the glass of objects in front of it. I had to take it at an angel to reflect only the sky with direct Sun light with a darker setting than normal. I then had to adjust the shape of it on the computer and do a lot of adjustments to the color. I changed it to look like copper and had to paste the middle looking gold, so the abalone would not look overly pink.

It is a symbol that represents the 5 elements and planetary significance. It was made for me by Rich Hawthorne of Clear View Artworks: [link]
