I was able to get improvement and detail without making it look horrible by pushing this photo so hard after being compressed into a 1 meg jpg file, where it is now over 5 megs. It seems that with digital photography it is easier to correct a dark underexposed image than an overexposed image, where it was the opposite when working with film. I used ACDSee Pro 8 to edit this image. The color is still a little bit wanky, but not too bad.
